Gus Hansen enjoyed an amazing year on the WPT where he was the only player to make it to the final poker table in three of the tournaments. Gus Hansen has appeared on High Stakes Poker on GSN where he bought into the game for $400, 000. You might recall one of the largest pots in high stakes poker recorded history against Daniel Negreanu. Hansen won a big pot with quads against Negreanu’s full house. Hansen has earned many tv poker appearances and is thought to be one of the greatest enthusiasts in the world. While betting on net poker, another side of Hansen has been seen. Unless Gus is penniless, he has absolutely no reason to settle at the table with the minimum buy in.
