Amateurs Strategy for Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in a great game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the casino, not like almost all other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not need to be concerned about other, more advanced players taking their mulla.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game play, newcomers will be able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make frenzied choices.
It’s also much simpler to wager on for an extended time with only a small amount of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the house is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one two card hand must be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
