Caribbean Poker Codes and Hints
Poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players receive 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s first card, you must in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with an amount equal to the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The casino pays chips equal to your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
